Please be part of an extraordinary evening brought to you by the Center for the Study of Transformative Lives at New York University. Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Megan Marshall will speak of her life-long fascination with exemplary as well as lesser-known historical women, and how she uses story to propel biographical narrative. Using examples from her research and writing on five women over three decades, Marshall will consider the question: What does biography do for both writer and reader? Come and hear Megan Marshall discuss "why (and how) I write women’s lives."

Please RSVP by March 28th; space is limited.
